Hüseyin Gümrükcüler Becomes Leading Candidate for the Mediterranean Region in TGA Elections

Hüseyin Gümrükxüler, Director of Numa Hotels, has emerged as the prominent candidate representing the Mediterranean Region in this year’s Tourism Promotion and Development Agency (TGA) board elections, scheduled for December 21, 2025. In this election, three candidates from the Mediterranean Region will be elected to the board. Industry observers note that Gümrükcüler’s strong background in hospitality management and regional tourism development positions him as a significant contender in the upcoming vote.

Brief Biography

I was born in 1978 in Alanya. I graduated from Bilkent University, Department of International Relations, and completed my master’s degree in the United States. I have extensive experience in the tourism sector and currently serve as an executive at Numa Hotels Group. I also contribute to the development of regional tourism and sports as a Board Member of Alanyaspor and ALTİD.

About My Candidacy

With my managerial experience in tourism and my international education, I aim to contribute to Türkiye’s global promotion, the acquisition of new markets, and the development of sustainable tourism projects. I will focus on enhancing Türkiye’s brand value and competitive strength in tourism by working in close cooperation with sector stakeholders.
